Our Request
Solar panels and the accompanying systems are extraordinarily expensive. The high-costs of an initial installation mean that our environmentally-conscious and education-oriented project cannot be funded by the school administrations, despite the payoff through energy savings. Through generosity and individual contributions, corporate financial donations, discounts, and component donations, our initial, target goal of $40,000 has been met. Our second round of funding to expand the solar array and diversify into new renewable technologies has begun. With your support, we can progress towards our goal of powering the entire school off of clean, renewable, sustainable energy.
